I made this performance for my father at his exhibition opening in Rovaniemi Art Museum, Rovaniemi, Finland, 20.9.2018.
The work included some childhood memories, and symbolism of time passing by as leaves falling from my hair. I also wanted to give my dad a gift in form of my time and precense, so I rang a bell three times, taking ten breaths in between. The bell, among other things created in the performance, I collected in a bottle and gave to him as a present in the end. |
